Summer is finally here, what better way than to have a beautiful picnic. Picnics are always a nice way to intentionally take the time to relax, enjoy your surroundings & your company. The fun part is that a Picnic can be set up anywhere. Here are just 6 great sites to set one up!
On a Beach: Picture just looking at the water, listening to the sounds of the waves & feeling that great breeze. This is by far one of my favorite places to set up a picnic. Gives me an excuse to put on my Picnic Sun Hat! Although, let's face it, I put on my Picnic Sun Hat anywhere I go, picnic or not.
Top of Hiking Trail: What better way than to get to the top of a mountain, after a hike & enjoy a nice meal. Why not make it even more special by having a nice picnic set up? Or how about surprising that special someone with taking them on a hike & once at the top they realize that you have already arranged for a beautiful picnic to be set up to enjoy. That would be one memorable site for sure.
In the Woods: For those nature enthusiasts, what better then a nice picnic in the woods? The sounds of the woods, the calm ambiance & added twinkle lights make a for a very intimate picnic area. Makes for a beautiful creation of a fairytale moment.
On a Rooftop: Do you or someone you know have an amazing rooftop with some amazing views? Set up a picnic up there & watch the magic of memories happen. Not only do rooftops have a way of making you feel like you are on top of the world, but on top of many, you can see things you could never see from below. You are forced to take a moment & look at the sky & see it for all it's glory. Rooftops are unique & out of the box. If surprising someone with a picnic, this is the way to go.
In or Out of State Park: Parks are the norm for picnics, but there are so many that you can choose from. One picnic can differ greatly from the next. Just look around your area, there are so many to choose from. Why not make it extra special & drive that extra mile or 2 & go to the next town or even next State & plan a picnic in one of their parks? This way you will always have a new view, new experience & most importantly new memories to create.
Indoors: Lastly, but definitely not least, is Indoors. Indoors is not only a good idea on a rainy day, but on a night where you really just want to stay home, but still do someone special. You wont have to worry about the outside elements & can enjoy a day or night of relaxation indoors. This is good as well for an intimate, romantic occasion such as a proposal. You can ask an indoor venue, such as an aquarium or museum, if you can have a picnic arranged for a short window to surprise that special someone in your life.
